Alexis Grace McNeil 7/5/09 2:01pm.

Hey All,
Well, we did it. Alexis Grace was successfully delivered July 5th at 2:01pm. She was delivered through C-section due to the fact that she was 9 lbs 4 oz and 21 3/4" long. Carrie pushed for 1.5 hours before the nurse stopped. She was a real trooper though. The facilites and staff here are unbelievable. They are waiting on Carrie's ever need and want. And, they do it with kindness and a smile. Alexis is the most perfect baby I've ever seen. What else would you expect from Carrie and I. Ha. She sleeps, eats, and fusses. Not too much crapping yet. She is still too young to evacuate the room with gases. She has the funniest cry too? She sounds a lot like a farm animal. I'm not sure if I can post video on here. I'll definitley post it up on facebook. Here are some pictures. I was able to take pictures the minute she came out and was alert. We thank you all for keepig tabs on us through the blog. We will continue to update it with pictures and stories. We were told that we should be going home sometime Wednesday or Thursday. Carrie's mom is heading down to visit this Wednesday. My mom is soon to follow. Please feel free to fire us any questions or comments. We will be updating this site every couple days now. Carrie is on maternity leave and has a lot of time on her hands. Again thank you.
